Bookkeeping Services for UAE Businesses

Monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and financial reporting for UAE SMEs that need records they can rely on.

Bookkeeping is the record of what the business did: sales, purchases, bank movements, amounts owed and amounts due. In the UAE those records also support VAT and Corporate Tax. If the books are late or unclear, the filings built on them will be too.

Score Plus Auditing L.L.C provides bookkeeping and accounting support for small and medium-sized businesses that want a regular close, not a reconstruction at the end of the year.

Bookkeeping services

The scope is agreed around the volume of transactions and the reports you need. We do not assume every SME needs the same package.

  • Monthly bookkeeping
  • Bank and credit-card reconciliation
  • Accounts payable recording
  • Accounts receivable recording
  • Financial reporting for management
  • Accounting support alongside VAT and Corporate Tax work

Monthly bookkeeping

A monthly cycle keeps the ledger close to the bank. Invoices, bills and payments are recorded, the bank is reconciled, and open items are listed while they are still easy to explain. That is more useful to an owner than a single annual exercise.

You remain responsible for approving payments and for the commercial decisions. We keep the records and flag items that need a description, a missing invoice or a management entry.

Financial reporting

Reporting follows the books. Typical outputs include a profit and loss account, a balance sheet and a view of amounts owed and owing. The format can be aligned to what a bank, a partner or a tax filing will later require.

Management reports are not audited financial statements. If an audit is needed, that is a separate engagement. Clean monthly records make that later work shorter.

Who we work with

The service suits SMEs in Dubai and across the UAE whose owners or finance staff do not want to maintain the full ledger in-house. Trading companies, professional firms, contractors, hospitality businesses and online sellers are typical. The fit depends on transaction volume and how source documents are kept, which we confirm before starting.

Questions about this service

Does my UAE business need bookkeeping?

If the business issues invoices, pays suppliers, runs a bank account or is registered for VAT or Corporate Tax, it needs accounting records that can explain those transactions. How detailed the records must be depends on the activity and the tax obligations that apply.

What accounting records should a UAE business maintain?

At a practical level: sales and purchase invoices, bank statements, payment support, contracts for significant items, and ledgers that tie those documents together. VAT-registered businesses also need the tax invoices and records required for their VAT returns. The legal retention period is the one set by applicable UAE law and the Federal Tax Authority.

How is bookkeeping different from accounting and audit?

Bookkeeping records the transactions. Accounting support turns those records into reports and helps with adjustments. An audit is an independent examination of financial statements and is scoped separately.

Can bookkeeping cover our Dubai company if we operate in other emirates?

Yes. The engagement is with the company, not limited to transactions that happen in Deira. Source documents can be shared electronically. Meetings can be arranged in Dubai.
