Score Plus Auditing L.L.C does not operate an Abu Dhabi office. The practice is based at Office 620, Business Village Building, Clock Tower Roundabout, Deira, Dubai. Abu Dhabi companies instruct us from that office. Documents are exchanged electronically, and meetings are arranged in Dubai or by video.

Abu Dhabi licensing is not Dubai licensing. A company on Abu Dhabi mainland, or in a financial or non-financial free zone in the emirate, answers to its own registrar and its own activity rules. Federal VAT and Corporate Tax still sit with the Federal Tax Authority. The two layers need to be kept separate when someone asks what the company “has to file”.

What Abu Dhabi clients typically need

The requests we see from businesses operating in Abu Dhabi are practical: monthly books that a finance manager can hand to a bank, a VAT return that matches those books, and a Corporate Tax return prepared from the same trial balance. Audit support is scoped only where the legal form, the zone or a contract actually calls for it.

Government-related contracting and professional services are a large part of the Abu Dhabi market. Those businesses often have slower debtor cycles and formal purchase orders. The bookkeeping has to reflect the certificate or the acceptance, not only the payment.
