Many of the businesses around the Clock Tower are trading companies, professional firms and owner-managed companies that need regular accounts rather than a once-a-year exercise.

Support for Dubai businesses

Dubai companies are licensed by different authorities. A mainland company and a free zone company do not share one rulebook for audit, economic substance questions or the way a bank asks for financials. Corporate Tax and VAT, however, are federal. A Dubai business can be dealing with a local licensing authority and the Federal Tax Authority at the same time.
